How to Remove a Block on a Player in League of Legends

How to Unblock Players in League of Legends

In the world of League of Legends, there are times when you need to block another player. However, there are situations where someone deserves a second chance. While unblocking a player may require a few extra steps, it is definitely possible to do so.

When you block a player in League, they are unable to interact with you in any way. This includes no direct messages (DMs), friend requests, or invites, as well as limited in-match communication options. Blocking is often the right decision when dealing with a highly toxic individual.

While the League community is often seen as a toxic environment, not all players you encounter will behave problematically. There are enjoyable games to be had in public matches, and if someone does become unpleasant, you can make use of the mute and block functions.

However, there may be times when you accidentally block someone or act on impulse, and the other person may deserve a chance to improve their behavior and maintain communication. Fortunately, there is a solution for situations like this.

How to Unblock Players in League of Legends

To unblock players in League of Legends, follow these steps:

1. Open the game client as unblocking cannot be done through the website or any other means.

2. Click on the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen to open the settings menu.

3. In the pop-up menu, you will find the block list tab on the left side. This is where you can see the complete list of players you have blocked. Remember, blocking does not just mute, it blocks all forms of communication.

4. To unblock someone, click on the X icon next to their name on the block list. This will remove them from the list.

5. Finally, click the “Done” button to confirm the changes you have made. Keep in mind that blocking a player will automatically remove them from your friends list. If you want to re-add them, you will need to send them a new friend request.

And that’s it! You have successfully unblocked a player in League of Legends. Now, it’s time to get back into the game and see if the unblocked player makes good on their second chance. If not, remember that you always have the option to block them again.
