The High Price of Exclusive Skins in League of Legends
The League of Legends community is no stranger to expensive in-game skins. Some of the best-looking cosmetics on Summoner’s Rift can cost upwards of 3,250 RP. One such skin is Jhin’s Dark Cosmic Erasure skin, which is only available through the game’s capsule system.
The Dark Cosmic Erasure skin features the classic Dark Cosmic Jhin skin in a red colorway, giving it a unique and ominous look. It also comes with a new splash art, icon, and border. Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends, has stated that they plan to create more exclusive content for the game in the future, with this Jhin skin being the first of many.
How to Unlock Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin in League
To unlock Jhin’s Dark Cosmic Erasure skin, players must purchase Cosmic 2023 Capsules during Patch 13.17 and 13.18 for 750 RP. However, there is only a one-percent chance of finding the Jhin skin in these capsules. The skin is available as the 30th capsule milestone reward, but to guarantee getting it, players will have to spend 22,500 RP on these capsules.
If you’re not willing to spend that much RP, you can wait until Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin is added to the reroll pool. This will allow you to exchange skin shards in your loot tab for a chance to reroll it in your inventory. However, the skin will only be added to the reroll pool next year.
