The Most Successful Champions in the 2021 Mid-Season Showdown

The LCS postseason competition has come to an end, and the champions Hecarim and Kai’Sa have emerged as the dominant forces on Summoner’s Rift. These two champions boasted a remarkable 73 percent win rate in the 2021 Mid-Season Showdown.

Hecarim and Kai’Sa Dominate the Draft

Both Hecarim and Kai’Sa were popular picks during the drafting phase of the competition. Hecarim, in particular, was the third-most banned champion in the MSS, while Kai’Sa was the most picked ADC, according to Oracle’s Elixir.

Hecarim’s Impact in the Jungle

Hecarim was a force to be reckoned with, being played 15 times in the tournament and boasting a ban rate of 48.4 percent. He was one of the top picks in the MSS, alongside Udyr, Renekton, and Gnar, who all had a 96.8-percent pick/ban presence.

Hecarim proved to be a game-changer in the jungle, allowing players to influence their side lanes early in the game and making crucial picks for their team later on. His speed and ultimate ability made him a valuable asset in various team compositions.

Kai’Sa’s Impactful Performance

Although not as heavily contested as Hecarim, Kai’Sa still made a significant impact in the competition, boasting a 67.7-percent pick/ban presence. In the 11 games she played, she showcased her power by contributing to victories. She held the second-highest KDA and third-highest damage numbers among all champions played in the MSS.

Kai’Sa’s reliability in most situations made her a popular choice among players throughout the season. She was also the most played champion during the 2021 LCS Spring Split.
