Hanwha Life Welcomes DanDy to League of Legends Coaching Staff

Hanwha Life Esports Signs Former World Champion DanDy as Coach

Hanwha Life Esports has made a major addition to its coaching staff by signing DanDy, the winner of the 2014 League of Legends World Championship. This move marks the return of DanDy to competitive League of Legends. In addition, Kim “Key” Han-gi has been promoted from the team’s academy to the main roster.

DanDy gained recognition in 2014 as a crucial member of Samsung White’s Worlds championship-winning team. Despite his success in his home region, he failed to find the same level of accomplishment after joining the LPL’s Vici Gaming until the end of the 2016 season.

This summer, DanDy will join Hanwha Life Esports, aiming to help the team improve on their poor performance in the 2022 LCK Spring Split, where they finished last with a disappointing 3-15 record. The upcoming Summer Split will be the real test for the squad.

Excitement for the New Coaching Team

In an announcement on Twitter, Hanwha Life Esports expressed their excitement for the addition of coach DanDy and coach Key to the first team. The team is looking forward to a promising summer split with their enhanced coaching staff. You can read the full announcement here.
