H2K surpasses the Unicorns of Love in the EU LCS

H2K Gaming Moves Closer to League of Legends World Championship

H2K Gaming took a decisive step towards the League of Legends World Championship with a dominant victory over Unicorns of Love today.

In the third-place match of the European League Championship Series playoffs, H2K emerged as the clearly superior team, making the series quite one-sided. Despite narrowly missing out on the Summer Split finals after losing to Splyce in the semifinals, H2K were considered the heavy favorites in today’s match.

Throughout the series, H2K showcased their strength and skill, ultimately winning the series 3-1. Although Unicorns managed to secure a win in the second game with an impressive teamfight, it was not enough to withstand H2K’s coordinated plays in the remaining games. H2K easily won the final two games in a thoroughly dominant fashion.

Path to World Championship

With this victory, H2K can secure a spot in the world championship if G2 Esports win the grand finals against Splyce. However, if the young Danish roster upsets the number one team in the league, H2K will instead be seeded into the finals of the European regional qualifiers.

Upcoming Grand Final

The European LCS grand final is set to take place tomorrow at 11 a.m. EDT (9 a.m. PDT). Stay tuned for the thrilling showdown between Splyce and G2 Esports.
