H0r0 to depart as his association with MYM worsens

Meet Your Makers Struggles as Controversy Surrounds the Team

The esports team, Meet Your Makers, has been making headlines recently for all the wrong reasons. They were involved in a controversy where they threatened to evict a player’s parent, and as a result, they have been losing their starting roster.

The team, which is already performing poorly in the European League Championship Series, is now at risk of losing their mid-laner Marcin “Kori” Wolski. They have already had to replace their experienced top-laner Mimer “Mimer” Ahlström. Additionally, their relationship with their Korean jungler, Cho “H0R0” Jae-hwan, has reached a breaking point and he is likely to leave soon.

Rumors Surrounding Cho Jae-hwan’s Future with Meet Your Makers

Rumors started circulating that Cho Jae-hwan would be benched for the sixth week of the LCS. The reasons behind this decision varied, with some pointing to visa renewal problems and others mentioning internal issues within the team. An insider close to the organization revealed, “The team isn’t really getting along right now and they want to explore other options. No one seems happy with the current situation.”

However, it seems that Cho Jae-hwan is now looking for a permanent exit instead of just being benched temporarily. A source close to the player stated, “He’s had a tough time in MYM. He’s not enjoying it and they don’t seem to appreciate him. With all the negative publicity and news about his benching, it’s highly likely that he will leave as soon as he can.”

Failed Attempts at Finding a Replacement

Meet Your Makers had been considering LowLandLions White jungler Thomas “Kirei” Yuen as a possible replacement for Cho Jae-hwan. However, after extended discussions, both organizations could not reach an agreement, primarily due to the player’s buy-out fee.

This isn’t the first time Meet Your Makers has approached the Dutch organization for recruitment solutions. With Wolski leaving soon, they also explored the availability of Sofyan “CozQ” Rechchad from LowLandLions. However, they faced a similar obstacle and could not come to an agreement.

New Potential Replacement and Uncertain Future for Cho Jae-hwan

With time running out for the organization, Meet Your Makers has now turned their attention to Dennis “Obvious” Sørensen from Gamers2. A deal is likely to be reached soon, although Sørensen has also received an offer from a North American team. The future remains uncertain for Cho Jae-hwan.
