Guide: Registering for League of Legends’ Clash 2020

The Relaunch of League of Legends Clash Tournament Game Mode

In just a few weeks, the highly anticipated relaunch of League of Legends’ popular Clash tournament game mode will finally happen. If you’re planning to gather your friends, here’s what you need to know about Clash:

1. Finish Your Placement Games

In order to participate in Clash, make sure you have completed your solo queue or flex placement games.

2. Activate SMS Verification

Enable SMS verification in your client’s settings. You can find this option under general settings.

3. Create Your Team

Starting Monday, Feb. 17, you can begin creating your team for Clash. Don’t forget to buy Clash tickets for yourself and your teammates. Clash tickets can be purchased for 975 BE or 195 RP for Basic, and 975 RP for Premium.

4. Choose Your Play Days

You have the option to play on one day or both days of Clash. However, each day requires its own set of tickets. You can even switch teams between days if you want.

5. It’s Not All or Nothing

If you lose or skip the first day of Clash, don’t worry. The rewards are still great regardless of your performance on day one. Additionally, a new feature has been added where all teams will play three games, regardless of their placement in the brackets.

It’s important to note that Riot Games has faced challenges with Clash in the past. However, recent test runs have provided hope for a smoother and more enjoyable experience moving forward.
