Get Ready for the 2020 League of Legends World Championship Pick’em!
The highly anticipated 2020 League of Legends World Championship is just around the corner, and so is this year’s Pick’em event. Are you ready?
After the play-in stage concludes on September 30, you’ll have the opportunity to make your predictions by dragging and dropping teams in the order you believe they will finish in their groups.
Once the group stage is finished, you’ll have the chance to pick the winners for each match in the knockout stage. Finally, you’ll need to decide who you think will win the tournament and claim the Summoner’s Cup as the 2020 World Champion.

What Rewards Can You Earn from Pick’em?
Earn points for each correct pick you make. The more points you accumulate, the better the rewards will be.
- Earn 18 points: Poro Predictor Summoner icon
- Earn 34 points: Poro Forecaster Summoner icon
- Earn 50 points: Poro Sage Summoner icon
- Earn 66 points: Poro Prophet Summoner icon
In addition to these rewards, there are also rewards for simply participating in each stage of the competition:
- Group Stage: 500 blue essence
- Quarterfinals: 500 blue essence and random champion shard
- Semifinals: 500 orange essence
- Finals: Hextech chest and key
However, if you correctly guess the outcome of every stage, you’ll win even bigger and better prizes:

What is the Pick’em Schedule?
The Pick’em event is divided into several stages, starting with the group stage on September 30 and culminating in the finals on October 30. Here’s the full schedule:
Group Stage:
- Picks unlock on September 30 at 6pm CT.
- Picks lock on October 3 at 1am CT
Quarterfinals:
- Picks unlock on October 11 at 6pm CT.
- Picks lock on October 15 at 1am CT
Semifinals:
- Picks unlock on October 18 at 6pm CT.
- Picks lock on October 24 at 1am CT
Finals:
- Picks unlock on October 25 at 6pm CT.
- Picks lock on October 31 at 1am CT
