GimGoon expected to join FPX in upcoming LPL match against OMG

FunPlus Phoenix Makes Roster Change for Upcoming Match

FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) is making a roster change in their upcoming League of Legends match due to recent poor performance.

According to Korizon Esports, FPX will be substituting top laner GimGoon for Khan in their next match against Oh My God. GimGoon’s last appearance was during FPX’s loss to JDG in the 2020 LPL Spring Split playoffs.

FPX fielded GimGoon in the top lane last split and experienced great success. However, the team decided to start Khan for the Mid-Season Cup and LPL Summer Split. Khan seemed to have built good synergy with his teammates after joining FPX from T1 in the offseason. Despite FPX’s underperformance in the Summer Split, Khan has not been solely responsible for the team’s losses.

All players on FPX seem to be out of sync and in a slump. To address this, FPX has decided to give GimGoon a chance. Currently, FPX is in 10th place in the LPL Summer Split standings with a 5-6 record. If they don’t make changes soon, they could miss the LPL playoffs for the first time since the 2018 Spring Split.

Tune in to Watch FPX’s Performance with GimGoon
