Gen.G dominates Hanwha Life Esports for their second victory in 2021 LCK Summer Split

Gen.G Secures Victory in 2021 LCK Summer Split

Gen.G continues their winning streak with a 2-0 series victory against Hanwha Life Esports in the 2021 LCK Summer Split.

In today’s League of Legends match, Chovy from HLE stood out among his teammates but couldn’t carry them to victory against Gen.G. The team heavily relies on Chovy’s performance, and even if he gets ahead, they don’t always win. However, when Chovy falls behind, the team’s chances of winning are almost nonexistent.

The MVP votes for today’s match went to Clid and Ruler for their exceptional performances on Volibear and Kai’Sa. Despite recent nerfs, both champions were skillfully piloted by the players to overcome their opponents.

HLE managed to gain a gold advantage in the first match of the series but eventually lost the game. However, this didn’t affect the outcome significantly as Gen.G’s composition was focused on the late game. Once Ruler’s Kog’Maw reached its full potential, HLE struggled to take down the powerful champion in teamfights. In the second game, HLE attempted to ban Lulu to avoid a repeat situation but failed. Ruler led his team to a second victory using Kai’Sa during the 2021 LCK Summer Split.

In their next two matches, Gen.G will face KT Rolster and Nongshim RedForce. Both teams have shown weaker performances compared to DRX and Hanwha Life Esports.
