Gen.G claims first place in LCK after defeating DragonX

Gen.G Takes the Lead in LCK After Dominant Performance by Bdd

Today’s highly anticipated matchup between Gen.G and DragonX in the Korean League of Legends did not disappoint. Gen.G’s mid laner, Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong, led his team to victory and secured the top spot in the standings.

After a slow start in the first game, Bdd stepped up his gameplay and completely dominated on champions like Zoe and Galio. He showcased his skills by accumulating an impressive 19 kills across two games. Bdd’s performance reminded fans of his past successes on Longzhu, as he roamed the map, made crucial picks, and carried his team with confidence.

Unfortunately for DragonX, their lack of experience became apparent. Questionable picks and bans led to their downfall, and they seemed to tilt throughout the series on Summoner’s Rift.

The potential of the Kalista and Volibear bot lane was overshadowed by the poor performance of Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu and Ryu “Keria” Min-seok. Collectively, they died 11 times, giving away the early advantage to Gen.G.

With this victory, Gen.G now holds the top position in the league with a record of five wins and one loss. They are considered strong contenders for the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational. However, they will need to defeat T1 to solidify their chances.

Gen.G’s next series in the LCK is against Afreeca Freecs on Thursday, Feb. 27.
