The G2 vs. SKT matchup reached a peak viewership of 3,985,787 across multiple platforms including Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, AfreecaTV, Garena Live, and Naver. YouTube had the highest number of viewers, with almost two million tuning in to watch the final game.

This incredible achievement surpasses the previous record set by Epic Games’ Fortnite World Cup, which had just over two million concurrent viewers. It was anticipated that this semifinals matchup between G2 and SKT, two powerhouses from different regions, would set new records, and it certainly did not disappoint.

The clash between G2 and SKT is already being hailed as one of the greatest battles in League of Legends history. It pitted the unstoppable force of Korea’s perennial champions against the best team the West has ever seen.
