G2 triumph with top lane Soraka against Vitality in second week of 2020 LEC Spring Split

G2 Esports Dominates Team Vitality in LEC Spring Split

G2 Esports showcased their championship-winning form in a dominant victory against Team Vitality during the second week of the 2020 LEC Spring Split. The reigning MSI champions brought a new strategy to the table, utilizing Soraka in the top lane, a role typically reserved for support champions. This strategic move has gained popularity among professional players in solo queue.

Perkz Leads G2 to Victory

Although Soraka received a lot of attention early in the match, it was G2’s mid laner, Luka “Perkz” Perković, who stole the show. With an exceptional performance on Lucian, Perkz secured seven kills, leading G2 to victory.

Complete Domination by G2

G2’s superior macro play and teamfighting skills were on full display throughout the match, leaving Vitality with only one kill and a single turret by the end of the game. G2’s dominance was unrivaled.

G2 Faces Origen in Upcoming Match

G2’s next challenge will be against Origen, the only other team currently undefeated in the LEC. While G2’s Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski downplays the hype around Origen, tomorrow’s match will put them to the test.

The G2 vs. Origen match will take place on Feb. 1 at 2pm CT.
