G2 Esports’ Perkz Pulls Off Amazing Gank with Zoe
G2 Esports’ AD carry Luka “Perkz” Perković once again showcased his incredible skills in League of Legends by executing a remarkable gank with Zoe during a recent broadcast.
In a critical moment, Perkz came to the rescue of his top laner, who was under threat from the enemy Sion. Using Zoe’s Spell Thief (W), Perkz perfectly timed a Redemption, allowing his top laner to start a crowd control chain against Sion. Perkz then launched a Sleepy Trouble Bubble from afar, putting Sion to sleep. With a quick Q, R, auto attack combo, the unsuspecting opponent was swiftly eliminated.
“This is where the enemy top laner says ‘fucking Zoe’ and just Alt F4’s the game,” Perkz chuckled.
Although Perkz currently serves as G2’s ADC, he previously held the position of mid laner. After the acquisition of Rasmus “Caps” Winther from Fnatic last year, Perkz made the successful transition to the bot lane.
G2 had an impressive 2019 season, securing first place in the LEC Spring and Summer splits, as well as winning the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational and Rift Rivals 2019 NA-EU. Although they were considered one of the top contenders at Worlds this year, G2 unfortunately fell short in the finals against FunPlus Phoenix.
