G2 Mikyx On Comparing LCK, LEC, and LPL Bot Lanes

Mikyx Criticizes Quality of LCK Bot Lanes

G2 Esports’ support player, Mikyx, recently expressed his disappointment with the level of play from bot lanes in the LCK during an interview with InvenGlobal. When asked about his thoughts on the LPL and DWG KIA’s bot laners after their performance at the MSI, Mikyx didn’t hold back.

LCK Bot Lanes Lagging Behind

Mikyx stated, “Yeah, I feel LCK bot lanes are worse than the LEC and LPL ones. I wasn’t very impressed by anyone there. I think some of the LPL bot lanes are pretty good. I think in Europe you also have some really good bot lanes. So I feel like they’re a bit behind.”

G2’s support player believes that DWG KIA and T1 are the only two teams in the LCK with strong bottom laners. Gen.G, who have been struggling in recent weeks, is seen as a distant third. Mikyx believes that the LEC has a plethora of talented bot laners, but lacks strength in the mid lane department.

G2’s Strengths Heading into the LEC Matches

Looking ahead to the final matches of the LEC, Mikyx is confident in G2’s individual players and their adaptability in best-of-five series.

The LEC returns this Friday for the last week of the Summer Split regular season. Five teams are seeking to improve their placements for the playoffs, four teams are fighting for the final playoff spot, and one team aims to create a memorable moment before leaving the LEC after being eliminated from playoff contention.
