G2 Esports Remains Unbeatable in EU LCS Standings
After three weeks of play, it seems like no team can dislodge G2 Esports from the top of the EU LCS standings, even though they dropped points for the second week in a row.
G2 managed to maintain their lead with a 1-1-0 week, remaining undefeated with four wins in total so far.
In week three, G2 secured a victory against the bottom-ranked Unicorns of Love. However, they could only manage a draw against H2k-Gaming, the only other undefeated team in the league.
H2k-Gaming also won against struggling Vitality to match G2’s record and hold onto third place. Fnatic had the best record of week three, winning against Splyce and Giants Gaming, and moving into second place.
At the bottom of the table, Vitality and Origen, both former Spring split playoff contenders, occupy the last two spots. However, both teams secured their first wins of the season this week. Vitality defeated the Unicorns of Love, while Origen beat Roccat.
Splyce and Schalke 04 are vying for a playoff spot with a win and a loss this week, maintaining even records of 2-2-2 and sitting just behind the three leaders.
