Team SoloMid Wins NA Championship Against Cloud9
A crowd of 3,000 people at PAX Prime in Seattle witnessed the rivalry between North American League of Legends teams Cloud9 and Team SoloMid come to a head in the finals of the region’s premier League. Cloud9, the reigning champion, had never lost a game in the playoffs and had beaten SoloMid in the last two finals. However, SoloMid came out strong in game two, capitalizing on a mistake by Cloud9 and securing a victory. The crowd erupted in cheers, realizing that SoloMid had a chance to take down the reigning champion.
Bjerg’s Journey to Becoming SoloMid’s Star Player
A year ago, Bjerg, SoloMid’s mid laner, was playing in Europe as a member of the Copenhagen Wolves. However, after the team’s disappointing performance in the playoffs, Bjerg caught the attention of SoloMid and was signed as their star player. Although initially struggling with the change in playstyle and the pressure to perform, Bjerg adapted and became a crucial part of SoloMid’s transformation. With the guidance of their coach, Bjerg developed into both a star carry and a leader for the team.
SoloMid’s Road to Victory
Facing a tough Summer Split, SoloMid made several adjustments to their roster and coaching staff. Looking Ahead to Worlds
With their victory at PAX Prime, SoloMid secured a spot in the upcoming League of Legends World Championships. Despite the dominance of Korean teams in recent years, SoloMid remains focused on their goal of becoming world champions. They will be practicing against the best teams in Korea as they prepare for the tournament in October.
