Froggen Sets New World Record for Highest Minion Farm in a Professional League Match

In a 67-minute showdown, two top North American League of Legends teams set a new record for the highest creep score (CS) in a competitive game.

Echo Fox mid laner Henrik “Froggen” Hansen broke the previous record for most minions farmed in their game against Team Dignitas. He scored 764 CS on Gangplank, breaking the record set by former CJ Entus mid laner Shin “CoCo” Jin-yeong last year.

Despite Hansen’s achievement, both teams displayed sloppy play. Team Dignitas had a significant gold advantage and secured four Barons and the fifth Dragon buff three times in a row. However, Echo Fox managed to backdoor the Dignitas base and end the game after a disjointed teamfight.

Hansen jokingly told Riot Games caster and host Rivington Bisland III that he aimed to achieve 1000 CS before the end of the game, but it was not to be. Nevertheless, Echo Fox secured a much-needed win to avoid the promotion tournament and keep their playoff hopes alive.
