Fresh Bug in LoL causes trouble for adorable companions

League of Legends Bug: Naafiri Can Attack Little Legends

Naafiri, a champion in the popular game League of Legends, has a surprising appetite for more than just her enemies. She’s also willing to snack on the adorable Little Legend companions that accompany players in the ARAM game mode.

In ARAM, Little Legends hop around while their champions battle it out on the Howling Abyss. They don’t have any impact on gameplay, but they add a touch of cuteness to the intense fights.

A bug has been discovered on the League subreddit, where Naafiri can use her W ability to lock onto a Little Legend. However, this doesn’t cause any damage to the intended target. In a video posted on Reddit, Naafiri leaps towards an enemy Xerath, but instead of damaging him, she jumps to his Little Legend. The lock-on mark appears over the Little Legend’s head. Naafiri then switches her focus to the enemy champions, unable to deal enough damage to her intended target due to the missed ability.

Some players speculate that this bug is caused by the Little Legend being coded as a minion, allowing Naafiri to cast her spell on it. Riot Games has not yet responded to this issue, but it’s evident that it will require a patch or hotfix to resolve.

Don’t worry about the Little Legends, though—they managed to hop away unharmed.
