Former Top Priority Competitive Pick in League Now Holds the Lowest Win Rate in Solo Queue

Zeri, Once the Hardest Champion to Balance, Now Struggles in League of Legends

For quite some time, Zeri was considered the most challenging champion to balance in both professional play and solo queue in League of Legends. However, it seems that her appeal has dwindled among the player base.

Currently, Zeri holds the unfortunate title of having the lowest win rate among champions in solo queue for players ranked Platinum or higher. With only 3,335 games played, she has a dismal win rate of just 40.75 percent, as reported by U.GG. This mobile AD carry has faced several nerfs after gaining popularity among competitive teams who sought a swift and powerful marksman for teamfights.

During Patch 12.11, Zeri actually had one of the highest win rates in the game, reaching 54 percent in Platinum ranks and higher. She proved to be a formidable opponent in prolonged teamfights during the later stages of a match, attracting mechanically skilled players who favored scaling compositions.

Her incredible speed made her nearly impossible to catch, making her a top priority pick for teams worldwide. Superstars like Fnatic’s Upset and Evil Geniuses’ Danny dazzled audiences with their impressive plays using the Zaunite blaster. However, due to Zeri’s overwhelming domination in the bottom lane, Riot had to nerf her to restore balance to the game.

Given the tremendous challenge of finding the right balance for Zeri, it may be quite some time before Riot revisits this electric champion and reintroduces her into the meta.
