FORG1VEN Joins FC Schalke 04
Greek AD carry Konstantinos-Napoleon “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou has joined the LEC’s FC Schalke 04, the team announced today. FORG1VEN will be Schalke 04’s starting ADC, replacing Elias “Upset” Lipp who signed with Origen. This marks FORG1VEN’s return to professional play after a hiatus since April 2018.
After completing his mandatory military service in April, FORG1VEN expressed interest in returning for the Summer Split but remained teamless until now. Recognized as one of Europe’s most experienced players, FORG1VEN’s addition to the roster is expected to bolster Schalke 04’s performance and consistency.
Since joining the European LCS, now known as the LEC, Schalke has reached the playoffs twice, both times during the summer season. They made it to the finals in the 2018 Summer Split and reached the semifinals this year, falling to Fnatic.
The identity of FORG1VEN’s bot lane partner is yet to be revealed, following Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun’s departure to FlyQuest during the offseason.
