FORG1VEN embarks on his mandatory military service, signaling a new chapter

Former H2K ADC FORG1VEN Begins Military Duty?

FORG1VEN, the former ADC for H2K, posted a vague tweet earlier today that has fans speculating about the start of his compulsory military service.

In response to a tweet from TSM’s ADC Zven about the new bot lane meta in League of Legends, FORG1VEN tweeted, “greetings from army Zven, hope [you] have a great time.”

Past Mention of Military Service

This isn’t the first time FORG1VEN has mentioned military service. While playing for H2K in February 2016, FORG1VEN had an emotional post-game interview where he revealed that he received a letter calling him into active duty for the Greek military. However, his military service was deferred, allowing him to continue playing in the EU LCS.

A World-Class ADC

During his career, FORG1VEN was known as one of the most talented ADCs in the world. He achieved a top four finish at the 2016 League of Legends World Championship.

Recent Success and Uncertain Future

In April, FORG1VEN joined Origen and won the EU Masters tournament. However, it remains unclear if he has officially started his military service, as his tweet was quite vague. FORG1VEN previously stated that he would be unavailable for the entire 2018 season and possibly a significant portion of 2019. Reddit users have also pointed out that FORG1VEN has expressed interest in returning to competitive play in 2020 if he can find a championship-level team.

League fans are surely eager to see this world-class ADC back in action in the future.
