Fnatic replaces Noxiak with newcomer Klajbajk for LCS.

Fnatic Makes Roster Change in Support Role

The 2016 League Championship Series hasn’t started off well for Fnatic, the reigning champions. In an effort to improve their performance, the team has decided to make a change in the support role. Newcomer Johan “Klajbajk” Olsson will be replacing Lewis “Noxiak” Felix.

Olsson, an LCS rookie, has never played in the Challenger Series or the LCS before, but Fnatic’s star AD carry, Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, believes he shows promise. Currently ranked in the top 50 players in the challenger league, Olsson has been duo queueing with Larsson and has now joined the team in Berlin. Felix, on the other hand, was asked to leave the gaming house immediately after Olsson was brought in.

Despite limited competitive experience in League of Legends, Olsson was part of a majority Turkish MeetYourMakers lineup and achieved second place at Dreamhack Winter 2015 with an all Swedish lineup, finishing as runners-up to 3SupEnterprises. He also played for Na’Vi when the organization returned to League of Legends.

Fnatic has had a rough start to the Spring split, with five wins and three defeats. This puts them in fourth place, trailing G2 Esports, H2K Gaming, and their long-term rivals, Unicorns of Love. In the upcoming week five, Fnatic will face the Unicorns as well as Elements, who are also struggling.
