Fnatic Strengthens League of Legends Team with New Staff Members

Fnatic, one of the top teams in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), has added four new staff members to further enhance their roster. The team aims to become the best squad in the league.

Javier “Dardo” Zafra joins Fnatic as the new team director, while Alexander “LocoEX” Hugo takes on the role of team manager. Carlos “Aagie” Cuenca will serve as an assistant coach, and Marius “Veigar v2” Aune joins as a strategic coach.

Dardo expresses his belief in Fnatic as a winning team and his confidence in their ability to achieve great success this year. He also praises the organization for providing the opportunity to work on a long-term plan.

The new staff members are determined to address past issues that have affected the team’s performance. During the 2019 season, Fnatic faced various internal problems that impacted their results in the Spring and Summer Splits.

Dardo is confident that the team will now operate with greater speed and efficiency. The coaching staff will implement a “flat structure” where information is shared between Fnatic’s main team and their Academy squad. This approach aims to improve both squads in the long run.

The 2020 LEC Spring Split kicks off on Friday, Jan. 24. Fnatic’s first match is against Origen, taking place as the last game of the day.
