Fnatic part ways with Gamsu, sign Kikis

Fnatic Replaces Toplaner Gamsu with Kikis from G2 Esports

Fnatic, one of the most successful brands in European League of Legends Championship history, has made a change to their roster. They have replaced toplaner Noh “Gamsu” Young-Jin with Mateusz “Kikis” Szkudlarek, formerly of G2 Esports.

Fnatic stated that the decision was made because their organizational goals and ideals were not aligned with Gamsu.

This move comes a month after Kikis stepped down from his position on G2’s starting roster. He gave the organization an ultimatum after they began practicing separately with the newly acquired player Ki “Expect” Dae-han. Kikis asked for an increase in scrimmage time and a guaranteed starter spot, but G2 was not willing to meet his demands. Kikis ultimately stepped down and has been searching for a new team since then.

Gamsu joined Fnatic just seven months ago, along with famous South Korean jungler Lee “Spirit” Da-yun. The team had a relatively slow start in the 2016 Spring Split, finishing sixth in the regular season. However, they secured a spot in the playoffs and made it to the semifinals, where they lost to G2.

Overall, this change to Fnatic’s roster is expected to bring a new dynamic to the team. Kikis’ addition may help the team achieve their goals in future tournaments.
