Leaks Suggest Changes in FlyQuest’s Starting Roster for the Next Week
A Discord server dedicated to LCS media may have inadvertently leaked FlyQuest’s starting roster for the upcoming week.
It appears that former Schalke 04 support Dreams will replace Diamond in the final week of the 2021 LCS Spring Split for FlyQuest. The LCS media room, where players are scheduled for interviews, included Dreams while excluding Diamond.
FlyQuest’s Roster Experimentation in Preparation for the Next Split
Since the organization has been eliminated from playoff contention due to a lackluster performance during the split, they are now seeking to experiment with their roster in order to prepare for the next split.
Dreams, a Korean support who played a crucial role in S04’s remarkable run last split, aiding the team in recovering from a poor start and coming close to qualifying for the 2020 League of Legends World Championship. In the offseason, Dreams made the move to North America and signed with FlyQuest’s Academy roster. They finished sixth in the split and have secured a spot in the upcoming LCS Proving Grounds.
A Struggling FlyQuest Roster After an Eventful Offseason
FlyQuest had an incredible 2020, culminating in their qualification for the 2020 League World Championship. Although they were the first team from North America to secure a win, they were unable to advance from the group stage with a 3-3 record. During the offseason, the roster underwent significant changes, with many players finding new homes in other North American powerhouse teams like TSM and Team Liquid. The current roster is facing challenges, displaying weaknesses in individual mechanics as well as map control.
A Starting Point for FlyQuest’s Roster Reassessment
Although the upcoming three matches won’t impact this season, they can serve as a starting point for FlyQuest to evaluate their roster and make adjustments for the summer split.
