FlyQuest Misses Playoffs in Last-Ditch Effort
FlyQuest’s hopes for a playoff spot were dashed as they suffered a defeat at the hands of CLG in their final game of the regular season. Golden Guardians secured the eighth and final LCS playoff berth by only one game, edging out FlyQuest.
FlyQuest Unable to Capitalize on Objective Control
Despite FlyQuest’s strong objective control in the game, they couldn’t establish a gold lead throughout the 37-minute match. At the 27-minute mark, several players got caught out of position, signaling FlyQuest’s inevitable defeat.
FlyQuest’s Season Ends Disappointingly
FlyQuest spent the entire month of July trying to create the perfect roster by combining the best players from their standard LCS lineup and their Academy team. Unfortunately, a single loss in August crushed their playoff dreams.
Despite the disappointment, FlyQuest can start rebuilding early in the offseason. With one of the strongest young cores in the North American League of Legends scene, their development process looks promising compared to other LCS teams.
Golden Guardians Head to Playoffs
On the other hand, the Golden Guardians secured their spot in the playoffs and will begin their postseason journey in the lower bracket on August 13.
