Flash Wolves lead the LMS standings as playoffs approach

The LMS Spring Split Concludes with Top Teams Advancing to Mid-Season Invitational

The LMS Spring Split has come to an end, and the top four teams have secured their spots in the regional playoffs.

Flash Wolves, ahq e-Sports Club, J Team, and Machi all finished at the top of the standings. They will now compete against each other in the playoffs for a chance to participate in the Mid-Season Invitational in Brazil on April 28.

Flash Wolves were undefeated throughout the entire Spring Split, winning all 14 games in the regular season. They were truly dominant in the LMS region, losing only one game out of 29.

Ahq e-Sports Club managed to hold on to their second place spot, although J Team closed the gap on them in the final week. A crucial victory against Fireball in their last game secured ahq the second place finish in the Spring Split.

J Team and Machi will face each other in the first round of the LMS Playoffs on April 21. The winner of that match will then compete against ahq e-Sports Club in the second round on April 22. Finally, the winner of the second round will go up against Flash Wolves in the finals on April 23.

Considering their undefeated victory against G2 esports in the final of IEM Katowice, Flash Wolves are the clear favorites heading into the playoffs. It would require a remarkable effort from the other teams to overthrow the current kings of the LMS.

The winning team will qualify for the Mid-Season Invitational and gain a strong position to represent the LMS. This will be the first time in the region’s history that they will have three representatives at Worlds, thanks to recent rule changes implemented by Riot.
