Fenix Transitions to AD Carry Position, Joins Dignitas

Dignitas Signs Veteran Fenix for League of Legends Roster

Dignitas has made a significant addition to its League of Legends team by signing veteran player Kim “Fenix” Jae-Hun. However, Fenix will be transitioning to a different position, moving from mid laner to the bot lane.

You can watch the announcement video on YouTube.

Fenix Begins on the Academy Team

Fenix has shared that he will start the upcoming season on Dignitas’ Academy team, as he aims to gain valuable experience in his new role. He hopes to work his way up to the LCS roster, showcasing his skills as an ADC.

A Talented Addition to Dignitas

In 2013, Fenix made his debut on the South Korean stage when he joined Jin Air Falcons. He later flew to the U.S. to compete in the North American scene with Team Curse and Team Liquid. In the 2019 season, he played for Echo Fox and helped their Academy team secure a sixth-place finish in the Academy Summer Split.

Challenges Ahead for Fenix

The upcoming 2020 season will pose a challenge for Fenix as he takes on a new role. Similar to Rasmus “Caps” Winther’s successful transition to a new position in 2019, Fenix will need to adapt quickly to compete at the professional level.

Dignitas’ 2020 LCS roster includes Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon in the top lane, former TSM jungler Jonathan “Grig” Armao, mid laner Henrik “Froggen” Hansen, AD carry Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen, and former 100 Thieves’ support Zaqueri “aphromoo” Black.
