FBI, Ssumday, and Closer Dominate KDA Rankings in 2022 LCS Spring Playoffs Opening Round

100 Thieves Impressive Performances in LCS Spring Split Playoffs

Following their dominant victory over Cloud9, 100 Thieves have solidified their position as strong contenders for the 2022 LCS Spring Split championship. Three players in particular stood out in the team’s roster: FBI, Ssumday, and Closer, who currently lead all LCS playoff players in KDA.

Starting off, 100T’s superstar jungler Closer demonstrated exceptional skill and was arguably the best player in his role during the opening round of the playoffs. The 23-year-old delivered a performance reminiscent of his outstanding play in the 2021 Summer Finals, where he helped lead the Thieves to their first championship.

In three games, Closer achieved an impressive KDA of seven with 12 kills, 23 assists, and four deaths, as reported by Oracle’s Elixir. He consistently chose Lee Sin as his champion and showcased multiple highlight-reel plays against C9, rightfully earning him the Player of the Series award.

100T executed their latest strategy to neutralize C9’s Summit by deploying Closer to the top lane, providing support for Ssumday to dominate the lane. As a result, the experienced Korean star finished the weekend with an impressive 8.7 KDA, 21 assists, and only three deaths while favoring Ornn as his champion of choice.

Lastly, the Thieves’ star bot laner FBI served as the final insurance plan in their later games, utilizing his intelligent teamfighting skills. He secured an outstanding 12 kills in the final game of the series while playing as Lucian, resulting in an impressive KDA of nine.

Overall, 100 Thieves demonstrated their true potential after some earlier setbacks this split. They appear poised to face and conquer any challengers on their journey to secure their second LCS trophy.
