Fans of League of Legends celebrate as Zeri and Yuumi’s dominance weakens in professional gameplay

League of Legends Players Celebrate the Demise of Zeri and Yuumi

League of Legends players are rejoicing as the Chinese and Korean pro leagues are finally bidding farewell to two notorious champions – Zeri and Yuumi. Patch 13.2 changes have brought an end to their tyrannical reign.

Massive Nerfs Impact Zeri and Yuumi

Patch 13.12 delivered significant nerfs to Zeri and Yuumi, causing a sharp decline in their pick rates. Even the LPL and LCK have witnessed the consequences of these changes. In the LCK, Zeri and Yuumi only appeared in 4.3 percent of games. As for the LPL, Zeri has completely disappeared from the scene.

The Impact of Nerfs

Surprisingly, a few changes were enough to bring about such a drastic drop in the popularity of these champions. Yuumi’s Friend Bonus, E attack speed, and ultimate heal were decreased, while Zeri lost her shield passive and her Q can no longer proc Sheen. These seemingly minor nerfs have rendered these once-dominant champions practically unusable in both pro play and ranked games.

Poor Performance in Ranked

Following the arrival of Patch 13.12, Zeri’s ranked win rate has plummeted to 46.68 percent in solo queue according to League stats site U.GG. This decline holds true regardless of whether she is built with on-hit power or ability power focus. Yuumi is also struggling, with a win rate of 45.75 percent, even after the improvements brought by the item changes in Patch 13.10.

It’s no surprise that Yuumi is one of the most despised champions in League, and Zeri has been over-picked since her release. Fans couldn’t be happier to witness their fall from grace.

But if you are a Yuumi or Zeri main, it might be time to consider changing your strategy.
