Fan Creates Anime-style Opening Mashup Featuring Jarvan IV as the Protagonist of a Unique Adventure

Jarvan IV and Allies Pay Tribute to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in League of Legends Animation

Jarvan IV and his allies in League of Legends have embarked on a unique adventure inspired by the iconic anime series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. The League of Two Trolls YouTube channel has created an animated cover of the show’s second opening, Bloody Stream, featuring Jarvan and his team battling against shadowy figures like Hecarim and Thresh.

It’s a solid tribute that perfectly captures the stylish essence of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s distinctive art style. You can watch the animation here.

Voice Actors Connect the Worlds of League of Legends and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

Interestingly, the voice actors of Jarvan IV have also worked on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Kyle Herbert, who voices Jarvan in English, dubbed Noriaki Kakyoin in the Stardust Crusaders arc of the anime. Nobutoshi Canna, the Japanese voice of Jarvan, portrayed minor villain Bruford in the video game adaptation of Phantom Blood, the first arc of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

With League of Legends already featuring the voice actor of Dio Brando, it would be exciting to see a skin that combines the flamboyance of the vampire character with the time-stopping abilities. Such a crossover could create a frenzy among fans of both franchises.

Arcane: The League of Legends Anime Series

Riot Games, the creators of League of Legends, are no strangers to the multimedia approach. The company has previously announced an animation project called “Arcane,” centered around champions Jynx and Vi. Originally scheduled for release in 2020, the series has been delayed to 2021 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on production workflows.
