Faker undergoing treatment for arm injury impacting performance

Faker Addresses Arm Injury, Assures Fans of Treatment

T1 mid laner Faker recently revealed that he has been struggling with an arm injury that is affecting his performance. Although he did not provide specific details about the injury, he assured fans that he is receiving treatment for it.

Faker’s Arm Injury Impacting Performance

According to Faker, the injury has been affecting him since T1’s match against BRION on June 17. This means that he has been experiencing arm pain for over two weeks. Despite this, T1 has maintained a 4-1 record in their matches, while Faker has a KDA of 3.4, slightly below his season-wide average of 3.5 according to Oracle’s Elixir, a League statistics site.

Precedents of Injuries in the League

Faker is not the first League star to face arm and wrist issues. In the past, DAMWON mid laner Showmaker received treatment for a wrist injury, and former RNG AD carry Uzi had to take a hiatus due to a shoulder injury.

Faker’s Future and Recovery Time

As one of the longest-tenured active players in professional League, Faker has been playing regularly since his debut in 2013. T1 has not commented on the possibility of Faker taking time off, but it’s possible that he may need recovery time if his condition worsens.

After playing their final match in week four of the LCK Summer Split, T1 will be back on the schedule for week five. With only a three-day turnaround, Faker will have limited time to rest and allow his arm to recover before their match against DRX on July 5. Fans can expect an update on Faker’s health prior to the match.
