Faker and Daigo to Collaborate in Exclusive Twitch Stream

Two Esports Legends Team Up for Special Live Stream

Two iconic figures in the world of esports, Faker and Daigo Umehara, are set to join forces in a highly anticipated live stream event. Faker, known for his legendary skill in League of Legends, and Daigo, a renowned player in Street Fighter, will come together for what Twitch has dubbed “a dream-like meeting of two living legends.”

The details of the stream have not been revealed yet, leaving fans to speculate about what exciting content awaits. Twitch shared a teaser on Twitter but kept the specifics under wraps.

A Collaboration of Gaming Legends

Daigo, who represents Twitch as a global ambassador, has participated in similar events in the past. One particularly notable match took place against rapper Lupe Fiasco, which garnered significant viewership worldwide. Fans of Street Fighter and newcomers alike tuned in to witness Lupe Fiasco come out victorious in their best-of-five clash.

Fortunately, this upcoming live stream will not interfere with Faker’s schedule in the LCK (League of Legends Champions Korea). The league will be on a break from Feb. 12 to 20 to celebrate the Lunar New Year. However, before Faker heads to Japan, his team SK Telecom T1 will face KSV in a highly anticipated rematch of last year’s World Championship final.

Save the Date

Mark your calendars for the unique event featuring Faker and Daigo, which will take place on Feb. 12 at 11pm CT.
