First-ever LCS Scouting Ground Circuit to Launch

Riot Games and FACEIT are launching the inaugural season of the LCS Scouting Ground Circuit. The tournament will showcase top amateur teams in the North American League of Legends scene from July to September.

The tournament will feature a $60,000 prize pool and the top two teams will qualify for the LCS Scouting Grounds event in November.

The Scouting Grounds circuit will consist of ten online events, including qualifiers, playoffs, and finals. Several other amateur leagues will also be part of the Scouting Grounds Circuit, providing opportunities for upcoming players to showcase their skills at the pro level.

“We want to foster the growth, development, and visibility of the next generation of League of Legends stars,” said LCS Commissioner Chris Greeley.

Players who want to participate in Scouting Grounds through solo queue can still be chosen. The circuit aims to provide exposure for aspiring players and contribute to the growth of the North American scene.

All the tournament details, including sign-up information, event rules, and schedule, are available on the FACEIT website.
