Expect a significant Bramble Vest nerf in the upcoming patch for more balanced tank gameplay.

Major nerfs coming to Bramble Vest in League of Legends

The Bramble Vest, a popular item among tanky top laners, is set to receive some significant nerfs in the upcoming Patch 7.19, as announced in the latest PBE update.

Since its introduction during the Midseason Update in April, the Bramble Vest has become a staple for tanky champions. It is a highly efficient purchase in terms of gold spent, which is why it is commonly built by players on both teams in almost every game of League of Legends.

Currently, the Bramble Vest offers a good amount of armor and the extremely useful Grievous Wounds passive ability, all for just 900 gold. Many players rush this item as one of their first purchases, which greatly reduces the effectiveness of ADCs with lifesteal and healing supports, as well as provides armor to counter AD lane opponents in the top lane.

However, in the upcoming Patch 7.19, the price of the Bramble Vest will increase from 900 to 1,200 gold. This 300 gold increase is a significant change that will make it less viable to rush the item early in the game. It will also require players to spend more time and effort to obtain the necessary gold. The 300 gold increase is equivalent to approximately three full minion waves, forcing players to stay longer in lane before they can afford to recall.

To offset the price increase, the armor stat of the Bramble Vest will be raised from 35 to 40. However, it’s clear that the small increase in armor does not justify the 300 gold hike. Overall, this change can be seen as a major nerf to the Bramble Vest.

The nerfs to the Bramble Vest are expected to be implemented in Patch 7.19, which is set to be released in a couple of weeks.
