Get Ready for the Newest Pool Party Event in League of Legends
Summer is here, and that means it’s time for the highly anticipated Pool Party event in League of Legends. This year, the Pool Party skins will be released for Gangplank, Caitlyn, and Zoe, along with exciting Chromas for each skin. Additionally, champions like Taric, Rek’Sai, Leona, Graves, Fiora, and Lulu who already have Pool Party skins will also receive Chromas. To add to the fun, there will be three new emotes available for players to purchase.
Just like in previous events, there will be missions for players to complete in order to earn rewards. Instead of tokens like in the recent Vs. event, players will earn Blue Essence, champion shards, and Hextech crafting loot.
In addition, there will be a new form of Orbs available during the event. These Orbs, called Position Orbs, can be purchased for 295 RP each and there are five in total, representing each position on Summoner’s Rift. Each Orb will drop a champion shard specific to the role it represents, such as an ADC Orb dropping only marksman champion shards.
But that’s not all! The Orbs also have a chance to contain Gemstones, Gemstone skins, or the newly introduced Crab Bag. The Crab Bag contains six skin shards, with one representing each role (assassin, fighter, mage, marksman, support, tank). Players cannot purchase Crab Bags individually, but they can purchase bundles that include them.
The Pool Party event will begin on August 2nd at 10am CT and will run until August 13th.
