Excel Esports Signs New AD Carry for 2020 Season
Excel Esports has announced the signing of their new AD carry for the upcoming 2020 season. The team has brought in Patrik Jírů, who previously played for Origin. He joins an Excel squad that has undergone significant changes in preparation for the new year.
Excel Esports has also re-signed mid laner Son “Mickey” Young-min and has added Joey “YoungBuck” Steltenpool, the former head coach of Fnatic, to their coaching staff. The team is determined to build a strong roster that can compete at the highest level.
Considering Excel’s disappointing finishes in the 2019 splits, finishing ninth and tenth, significant improvements are needed to become a serious contender in the LEC. Patrik’s addition to the team is a step in the right direction, but Excel will need more than just him to make their mark in Europe.
