Evil Geniuses to Begin Match against TSM with Contractz, Maintains Svenskeren as Starting Jungler

LCS Update: Evil Geniuses Makes a Roster Change

Evil Geniuses (EG) has made an exciting roster change for their upcoming match against TSM this Saturday. EG’s Academy jungler, Contractz, will be moving into the starting lineup. This decision comes after Contractz’s impressive performance in the 2021 Proving Grounds and his strong showing in the Academy scene. However, it’s important to note that Svenskeren will remain the team’s starting jungler for the entire 2021 Summer Split.

Contractz’s Stellar Performance

Contractz has proven to be one of the best junglers in the Academy league this Summer Split. He currently holds the second-highest number of kills and assists in his role, along with the highest kill participation percentage in the league. During the 2021 Spring Proving Grounds, he was the standout jungler, leading his peers in kills and damage numbers. His contributions have helped EG climb to fourth place this split, with five weeks remaining in the season.

Svenskeren’s Struggles

On the other hand, Svenskeren has faced some difficulties this summer. He currently has the second-lowest KDA among LCS junglers, with 22 kills and 35 deaths—placing him fifth in the league. Despite having a relatively high average damage to champions per minute, Svenskeren’s kill participation percentage is one of the lowest in his role.

Value of Svenskeren’s Experience

While Svenskeren’s performance has been lackluster, his veteran presence and experience as a pro player still hold value for Evil Geniuses. That’s why he will not be completely replaced on the team. Svenskeren will re-join the roster for the match against Team Dignitas on Sunday. It will be interesting to see if these changes can help Evil Geniuses maintain their upward trajectory. The team has won four of their last seven games, with their most recent loss against Team Liquid.

Don’t miss Contractz’s first LCS match of 2021 and more exciting action in week four of the 2021 LCS Summer Split, starting tomorrow at 4pm CT.
