Ender bids farewell to the LEC commentary desk after a 3-year tenure

Christy “Ender” Frierson Steps Away from LEC Broadcast

Well-known member of the LEC on-air talent team, Christy “Ender” Frierson, has made the difficult decision to step away after three years.

In a recent YouTube video, Ender explained that this decision was something he had been contemplating for almost a year. Despite pushing it off multiple times, he felt it was the right time to move on.

Ender’s Journey in the LEC

Ender first joined the LEC in 2018 as a color commentator, applying for the position via Twitter. His rise to the main stage culminated in casting the 2021 LEC Spring Split finals between MAD Lions and Rogue. Additionally, Ender made a name for himself by casting a Worlds 2020 quarterfinals match between Top Esports and Fnatic.

Next Steps in Ender’s Career

Returning to his former home of Los Angeles, Ender expressed his plans to focus on content creation. He expressed interest in co-streaming the LCS and creating content for that league. However, he made it clear that his involvement in the League of Legends scene is far from over.

Ender also mentioned his desire to get more involved in Riot’s other title, VALORANT. He hopes to contribute to the VCT in some capacity and create personal content around it.

Ender will still be broadcasting this year’s Mid-Season Invitational, which will likely be his final official broadcast as an LEC caster.
