Effort extends contract with T1 for 2 years

T1 Support Effort Re-Signs for 2 More Years

T1 support player Lee “Effort” Sang-ho has officially re-signed with the team for an additional two years, as reported by ESPN. This news comes after T1’s impressive top four finish at the 2019 League of Legends World Championship, suggesting that the organization is confident in building upon their success. Effort’s re-signing, along with a two-year extension for Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, is undoubtedly a positive development for T1 fans.

Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong Departs from T1

Following the announcement of Effort’s contract extension, T1 also revealed that they have mutually parted ways with Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong. Both Mata and Effort occupy the same position, and since Effort was the primary starter in most games, it was deemed unnecessary to retain Mata.

Effort’s Impressive Performance and Promising Future

At just 18 years old, Effort displayed exceptional performance throughout the summer split, placing high in various statistical categories among LCK supports. Although T1 fell short of their goal of winning the championship, the team’s strong roster, including the young and talented Effort, positions them well to compete for the world title in the upcoming year.
