Echo Fox and Roccat successfully secure their spots, avoiding relegation in the opening matches of the promotion tournament

Echo Fox and Roccat Secure their LCS Spots

Both Echo Fox and Roccat successfully defended their spots in the League Championship Series (LCS) promotion tournaments, winning close five-game series against their opponents.

Echo Fox vs. Team Liquid Academy

Echo Fox was initially in trouble in the first game against Team Liquid Academy, but they managed to come back and take a 2-1 lead. Despite losing another game quickly, Echo Fox fought hard in game five to secure their spot in the LCS.

Roccat vs. Millenium

Roccat and Millenium engaged in a lengthy and intense series that lasted nearly three and a half hours. With Millenium notching up 22 kills in game two, many believed that Roccat’s fate was sealed. However, Roccat turned the tables and emerged victorious, leaving Millenium in the Challenger Series for 2017.

Upcoming Matches and Final LCS Spots

With one team eliminated from each region, four teams remain to battle for the three remaining LCS spots. The winners of Echo Fox versus Phoenix1, NRG eSports versus Cloud9 Challenger, Schalke 04 versus Roccat, and Origen versus Misfits will all advance to the LCS. The European matches will take place later today, while the North American matches are scheduled for tomorrow.

The two losing teams will compete on Sunday for the final LCS places.
