League of Legends Esports Season Kicks Off with Watch Missions
Fans of League of Legends esports have something exciting to look forward to as the new season begins. Watch Missions are back, allowing fans to enjoy the action while earning exclusive rewards. Riot Games has revealed the five rewards that players can earn by watching League esports matches this season.
Earn Exciting Rewards
In a recent post on Nexus, Riot Games announced the exclusive rewards that fans can earn by participating in Watch Missions. These rewards include icons, blue essence, an emote, and a Hextech chest and key. Fans have the opportunity to earn these rewards by watching League esports matches until May 9.

Five Mission Chains
The Watch Missions are divided into five separate mission chains, each requiring fans to watch a specific number of League matches. The first mission chain, “New Season, New Rivals,” can be completed by watching two regular season games and rewards the Surf n’ Urf Summoner Icon. These two watched games do not count towards the next mission, which requires fans to watch an additional four matches for the NOT AGAIN Emote.
Special Rewards for Devoted Fans
For loyal fans who watch a high number of League matches, there is a special reward to be earned. Watching 90 games will grant fans the Blown Away Summoner Icon, featuring a Yordle with a foam Riot finger and in a relaxed state.
It is important to note that a match will only count towards mission completion after the 10-minute mark. Additionally, rebroadcasts will not earn fans any rewards, so it is recommended to either tune in live or watch VODs from the split.
