KINGZONE DragonX extended their record to 5-3 today with a victory over SK Telecom T1 in one of the strangest LCK matches this split.
As summer progressed, many fans and experts predicted the meta would return to tanks in the top lane and AD carries scaling in the bot lane.
However, in the third week of the LCK Summer Split, KINGZONE surprised everyone by playing Blitzcrank and Morgana in the bot lane against SKT’s Soraka and Tahm Kench.
Despite having five support champions on the map, the game was a bloodbath with constant skirmishes and teamfights across Summoner’s Rift.
Thanks to comical teamfight victories and GorillA’s accurate Blitzcrank hooks, KINGZONE managed to win game one.
In game two, despite a return to the standard two-support lineup, SKT struggled. Bdd’s Anivia crystalize wall prevented SKT from making plays and forced them to give up objectives.
