Dignitas starts 2022 LCS Spring Split with perfect 2-0 week, defeating TSM

TSM Starts LCS Spring Split with a 0-2 Record

TSM has kicked off the LCS Spring Split with a disappointing 0-2 record for the second consecutive season. In their latest game, they were defeated by the undefeated Dignitas League of Legends team after a 37-minute nail-biter.

Dignitas Emerges Victorious in a Close Matchup

Throughout the game, Dignitas and TSM remained evenly matched in terms of gold, towers, and neutral objectives. However, in the 37th minute, Dignitas secured a teamfight victory, obtained the Baron buff and Infernal Soul, and sealed their second win of the season.

Impressive Performance by Dignitas’ Newcomer

In their matchup against TSM, Dignitas’ newly signed jungler, River, played a significant role in controlling the map and securing crucial kills. River’s participation in 12 out of Dignitas’ 15 kills in the game showcased his impact. He has an 84% early-season kill participation rate, according to the League stats site Games of Legends. River’s performance on Jarvan IV has been outstanding, winning all five games he has played with a KDA of 7.1, as reported by Oracle’s Elixir.

TSM Cites Lack of Practice as a Factor

TSM’s 0-2 start to the season can be attributed to their limited practice time with their starting lineup. Due to travel restrictions, TSM had to field their Academy-level lineup during the Lock In tournament. AD carry Tactical mentioned that the team started practicing two weeks later than other teams, which put them at a disadvantage.

TSM’s Upcoming Matches and Dignitas’ Week Two Matchup

In the upcoming week, TSM will have matches against FlyQuest and Golden Guardians, two other teams that have had a difficult start to the season. On the other hand, Dignitas will face Evil Geniuses in their week two matchup.
