Despite Patch 13.15 nerfs, the ban rate for this LoL champion remains exceedingly high.

Kai’Sa Nerfed in Patch 13.15: Still Dominating Despite Changes

League of Legends is known for its ever-changing landscape, with champions rising and falling in power from one patch to the next. However, there are some champions that remain strong even after receiving nerfs. One such champion is Kai’Sa.

In Patch 13.14, Kai’Sa was undoubtedly the best AD carry in the game. With her hybrid build centered around Statik Shiv and Nashor’s Tooth, she dominated both the mid lane and bot lane. According to U.gg, she had an impressive win rate of 51.31 percent, a pick rate of 42.2 percent, and a ban rate of 32.5 percent. She was present in over 70 percent of games in Emerald and above.

However, Riot attempted to nerf Kai’Sa in Patch 13.15 by reducing the damage on her Q and W abilities, as well as her base health. Unfortunately, these changes weren’t enough to bring her win rate down. Even now, Kai’Sa still holds one of the highest ban rates in the game, sitting at 27.3 percent. Her win rate has dropped to around 34 percent.

While Kai’Sa’s presence in solo queue has decreased by about 10 percent, players still dislike facing her in their games. Her win rate in Emerald and above currently sits at only 49.7 percent. In comparison, champions like Ezreal, Ashe, Nilah, and Draven are in a much better state.

Despite the nerfs, Kai’Sa continues to be a dominant force in League of Legends. It’ll be interesting to see if Riot can find a balance for this powerful champion in future patches.
