Deft, Pawn, and TusiN join KINGZONE Dragon X

KINGZONE DragonX Makes Major Acquisitions for the 2019 Season

KINGZONE DragonX has signed three new players for the upcoming season, the team announced earlier today.
The new additions include mid laner Heo “PawN” Won-seok, AD carry Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu, and support Park “TusiN” Jong-ik.
PawN and Deft previously played under the KT Rolster banner, while TusiN comes from Afreeca Freecs.
These players will join top laner Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee and jungler Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan, who are the remaining two players from the 2018 season.
It is unclear at this time if KINGZONE plans to sign any substitutes for the bench.

PawN and Deft’s History with KT Rolster

PawN and Deft both played for KT Rolster in the past. However, PawN spent the latter half of the 2018 season on the bench due to injury, playing only one game after his return.
During the World Championship, KT chose to take top laner Hwang “Kingen” Seong-hoon as their substitute, leaving PawN behind.

TusiN’s Impressive Performance with Afreeca Freecs

TusiN joins KINGZONE after a successful two-year stint as the starting support player for Afreeca Freecs.
Known for his exceptional engages on champions like Rakan, TusiN gained popularity during his time with Afreeca.

KINGZONE’s Ups and Downs in the 2018 Season

KINGZONE had a mixed 2018 season. They started strong, dominating the LCK and winning the Spring Split.
They also performed well at the Mid Season Invitational, finishing in second place.
However, their control over the league faltered in the Summer Split, as they failed to make it to the domestic finals, losing to Afreeca in the quarterfinals.
They then lost to Gen.G in the World Championship regional qualifier finals.
