DanDy and GBM are now part of eUnited’s League roster.

eUnited Signs Legendary Duo GBM and DanDy for NACS Team

eUnited has made a surprising move by signing the legendary duo of Lee “GBM” Chang-seok and Choi “DanDy” In-kyu for their NACS team, the organization announced today.

League of Legends’ renowned jungler, DanDy, gained fame by winning the 2014 World Championship with Samsung White. Considered the world’s best jungler at the time, he consistently outplayed opponents in every stage of the game.

Following his championship victory, DanDy joined Vici Gaming in China. Although he was unable to win an LPL title, he remained a prominent player until he decided to take a break in the Spring Split of 2017.

On the other hand, GBM left Korea in 2016 to join NA LCS team NRG Gaming. While NRG managed to make it to playoffs in their first split, the team struggled in the summer and eventually got relegated to the NACS.

Criticized for his performance on NRG, GBM transitioned to EU LCS team Team Vitality as a substitute jungler. However, he ended up playing in the mid lane for the team. After the Spring Split, he departed from Vitality.

It is still uncertain whether GBM will be the starting mid laner or a substitute, as eUnited’s original mid laner, Hampus “Fox” Myhre, is still on the roster.

eUnited finished the NACS Spring Season in second place but failed to secure a spot in the NA LCS through the promotion tournament, losing to Team EnVyUs in the loser’s bracket.

Fans will have the opportunity to witness DanDy and GBM play together for the first time in North America when the 2017 NACS Summer Season begins in June.
