Daeny reunites with DWG as a strategic analyst

Yang “Daeny” Dae-in Returns to DWG KIA as Strategic Analyst

Yang “Daeny” Dae-in, the former head coach of T1, has made a comeback. After a short and unsuccessful tenure with T1, Daeny has returned to DWG KIA as a strategic analyst, the League of Legends team announced on social media today.

Daeny’s reunion with DWG KIA is expected to create synergy and contribute to the team’s ongoing development. The organization expressed their excitement about this collaboration in a statement on social media.

However, Daeny’s departure from T1 earlier this month was not without its challenges. Just seven months after joining the team as head coach, he was let go due to his inability to achieve the desired results. T1 made this decision with the aim of revitalizing their chances of success in the remaining eight games of the season and securing a spot at Worlds.

Now, Daeny will have the opportunity to redeem himself as a strategic analyst for DWG KIA. His previous experience as head coach of DAMWON Gaming, where he led the team to a first-place finish at Worlds 2020, will undoubtedly be an asset for the team. His familiarity with the players and his strategic insight could play a crucial role in improving DWG’s position in the 2021 LCK Summer Split.

Currently, DWG KIA is in third place with an 8-5 record, trailing behind NS RedForce and Gen.G.
