Crescent returns as Head Coach for Top Esports in 2021 LPL Summer Split

Top Esports’ Head Coach Crescent Returns for 2021 LPL Summer Split

Top Esports’ head coach, Crescent, has made his triumphant return after taking a break from the pro stage. In a comical reveal video, Crescent showed up at the TES headquarters dressed for summer vacation, only to quickly change into his usual suit and get back to work. He first joined the organization in 2018 and now faces the challenge of leading the team to success in the 2021 LPL Summer Split.

The Road to Success

When Crescent previously coached TES, the team finished the 2020 Summer Split in first place with a 13-3 record. Under Crescent’s guidance, they secured their first LPL championship by defeating JD Gaming. The team also reached the semifinals at the 2020 World Championship. However, they were eliminated by Suning, a fellow LPL team and unexpected underdog.

During the 2021 LPL Spring Split, TES faced some struggles without Crescent coaching. They brought in former Flash Wolves and FunPlus Phoenix head coach, WarHorse, but couldn’t achieve the same level of success. TES finished the spring regular season in third place and were eliminated early in the playoffs by Royal Never Give Up.

Returning to Glory

With Crescent back on board, TES aims to reclaim their former glory. Their roster still includes incredibly skilled players like JackeyLove, Karsa, and knight, who are known for their exceptional mechanics. The team’s fans would be deeply disappointed if they missed out on a finals appearance once again. Therefore, Crescent will lead TES in a strong playoff run as they head towards Worlds 2021.
